Sheds Canterbury Shed Inclusions
Pole Sheds:
What’s included in the pricing you see on our website:
All shed prices displayed on our website include standard specifications: 4.0m wide bays with your choice of 6.0m, 7.0m, or 9.0m depth. Height is 3.6m at the front sloping to 3.0m at the rear. Standard zinc corrugated cladding with corner and barge flashings, H5 treated poles, and H3.2 treated framing timbers.
Any enclosed bays automatically include 100ml thick, 20mpa with 665 steel reinforcing mesh concrete flooring for that bay. All pricing is supply and install – our team will build your shed on site as part of the quoted price.
Additional options:
Additional extras include spouting and downpipes, roofing paper and netting, concrete for open bays, and coloured steel cladding. Each optional extra is clearly priced under the ‘Book Now’ option and adds to your base shed cost. All pricing excludes GST – this applies to both the base shed price and any additional options you select.
Conditions of pricing:
All pricing assumes your site is level, accessible, and ready for construction. It also assumes the site is within 40km of our yard at 222 Newtons Road, West Melton. Site preparation, clearing, or levelling is quoted separately if required. Displayed prices are indicative only and aren’t confirmed until we’ve visited your site, discussed your requirements, and you’ve placed a deposit to lock in the final specifications.
Payment & Process
Ready to get started? Click “Book Now” under your preferred shed, fill out your details and you will reserve the next available spot in our build schedule. This gets you pencilled in and Pete will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
Pete, the boss, handles all customer contact personally – he’ll give you a call or email to discuss your requirements and arrange a free site visit. This no-obligation chat confirms your shed location, checks site access for our utes/vans/diggers/bobcat/trucks, and sorts out any specific requirements for your property.
After the site visit, Pete sends through your deposit invoice and we get everything locked in. Larger or more complex sheds may need progress payments during construction, but we’ll discuss this upfront. Custom shed pricing follows the same process, except Pete needs time to work out specific costs rather than using our standard website pricing.
Build timeframes depend on weather conditions and where we’re at with your particular shed – some stages are more weather-dependent than others. Pete keeps excellent communication throughout so you always know what’s happening.
We handle all building consent requirements. Whether you need consent depends on your location (rural vs residential), the size of your shed and which council area you’re in – Selwyn, Waimakariri, or Christchurch City.
